Hello there!
I’ll assume that you’re here to learn more about me because you might want to follow me, already follow me and want to know more, or just want to see who I am and what I’m about.
Well, anyways, my name is Marisa. I am seventeen years old and a senior in a public high school. I live in a small town in New England, I am Roman Catholic, and music has been my God-given passion since I was very young.
This is what my face looks like:

I like to look at life as the chance to change someone else’s; the chance to make someone smile and laugh and think that things are okay, even if it’s just for a moment, because that sows a seed of hope, and hope can do anything.
My favorite things are Jesus and Catholic related things, music, literature, information, and people, plus a whole bunch of other stuff. :D
My two favorite bands are Hanson and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. I also like My Chemical Romance, All Time Low, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, James Taylor, Secondhand Serenade, One Direction and many other bands and artists, not including all the musicals I love. Someday, I want to write down every artist I have in my iTunes accounts and put it on my blog so people know exactly how eclectic my taste in music is.
I love concerts, but I really only like small shows, and luckily, both of my favorite bands don’t normally play arenas. I’ve seen both of them twice in really cool venues that are still sizeable, just not arenas, and I like it that way.
My favorite tv shows are Criminal Minds, CSI, and Glee. I typically liveblog these three when they’re on, and I tag them with “liveblogging criminal minds” or “liveblogging csi” or “liveblogging glee” for those of you who may not want it on your dash.
Other shows I watch: The Soup, MythBusters, What Not to Wear. I catch the occasional Ghost Hunters, and I watch lots of Auction Hunters, Scrubs, and Family Guy whenever possible.
I’ve been very opinionated all my life, and it surely isn’t about to change. However, as opinionated as I may be, it does not give me any excuse to be an asshole, just as any opinion you may have does not give you the right to be one as well. If you’d like to argue a point to me, do so respectfully. I don’t bother trying with people who can’t respectfully debate with someone else- there’s no need to if the only point you can make is that I’m a bad person or that I’m a bitch or an idiot or a child. If you leave a disrespectful message in my ask regarding some opinion or argument, especially on anonymous, I can guarantee that it will either be ignored or that you will regret it later. An example of this can be found here.
I reeeeally like boys. Cute boys, hot guys, attractive men- whatever you want to call them, I love them. Lots. And to prove that love, men of this kind will be appearing quite frequently on this blog. I do my very best not to objectify, but sometimes, I just can’t help it.
You’ll notice that I have a few special tabs on my blog: personal posts, my heroes, cute boys, stuff that makes me laugh really hard, and my bucket list.
While the posts in my personal tag are not all posts by me, some of them are. The ones that are not my own, however, pertain very much to me and my life, so they’re tagged “personal” so you can better understand who I am and what I stand for. Essentially, if you’re interested in what’s important to me, take a look at that tag.
The posts in the my heroes tag are, obviously, my heroes, people that I admire for many different reasons and find incredibly inspiring. These are people that I’ve met, hope to meet, and would love to befriend. It might be a profound quote, and it might be a simple funny face in front of the paparazzi- whatever it is, that’s what I want to emulate.
The cute boys tag is pretty self-explanatory, right? ;D
So is the stuff that makes me laugh really hard tag. :{D
My bucket list is a list of all of the things I want to do before I die, in no particular order. It’s something that’s very important to me, and I could never order each desire in terms of value. I hope to cross each one of those things off of my list before I die.
I love making new friends, and I tend to do that through any means possible. I’m always ready to help someone out in whatever way I can, and I would love to make your acquaintance sometime. Please feel free to contact me here, on my Twitter or on my Facebook page. Just mention your username on Tumblr when you add me, if you choose to do so, and try not to mention this magical wonderland on the other site so my friends don’t find out about my blog. :)
