She’s practically the only person on Glee who acknowledges that what she did was wrong, that she should feel guilty about it, that she should remove herself from the situation before she hurts anyone anymore, she doesn’t make excuses for what she did, she doesn’t pretend she did nothing wrong, she doesn’t try to justify it, she doesn’t try to deflect blame, she takes sole responsibility for her actions, she appropriate feels guilty, she was honest that she cheated, she did and is doing the right thing, so yes, a big round of applause, because she may have cheated, but she’s practically the only person who reacted appropriately about it, who felt as you should, who was honest and took responsibility for it – This right here, is why Mercedes continues to be one of Glee’s best characters, and one of my personal favourites.” —
